Metal figures, drops and light
The collection is an immersion into the deepest intimacy, an introspective journey that fragments and recomposes the emotional states brought up by self-examination. Thin, bare figures populate this inner universe. Hollow forms, deliberately cumbersome, expose their fragility, and human interaction is the catalyst that animates them.
The iterative process of adding and subtracting metal is central to the meaning of the work: it plays constantly between tangible form and mental perception.
The drops now take on a new centrality through a device conceived specifically to produce them. That instrument, an integral part of the creative process, generates metal elements with a controlled but never identical regularity, amplifying the dialogue between human gesture and automation. Through this fusion the collection reflects on the act of making itself: a continuous cycle of intention, transformation and revelation.
